Adventure Van Expo

Description

Our show features primarily custom built-out adventure vans. These are vans that have been converted for travel with auxiliary heat, kitchen facilities, sleeping, bathroom and gear storage for paved road and over the land multi-day excursions. The format of the day is open house vans all day (10-5PM) where the builders talk about their respective designs with the public, a wide variety of booths are also open on the show floor (last year we had 90 companies from around the country)from a local yoga mat maker to a local upfitting shop to accessory companies from all over the country. A learning area with talks featuring topics such as cooking, trips, solar power, electrical wiring and more. Local bands play during the day. We have a DIY contest where 10 vans are on display to the public and are judged and given prizes. We also have used vans for sale where the local public can sell a vehicle. Local food trucks run both days. We invite local non-profits to display and give them a free 10x10' booth such as Truckee Roundhouse.
